I hate work

stupid monotonous drab colors holing me in away from the clean fresh air

old ladies yelling "rebeeeccaaaaaa" (cue voice from pet cemetary "racheeeeellll") beep beep beep of pulse and saturation alarms brooooooooozzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz of room calls arggggg!!!! and the telephone! omg the thelephone! will it ever stop ringing???!!!

hideous smells (have you ever smelled maelena = digested blood pooped out of your system = i do believe the worst smell ever) as soon as i walk in the door at 7 a.m. it often smells of poop in there. and the smell of death. yeah, it's there too. lovely

feelings of stress and deadlines and hurry hurry hurry all the time!

oh, yeh, i hate work!

and to top it all off i got in a huge argument with martine, my nurse's aid, who i considered one of my closest friends in france and we said some irreperable things to each other.

i dont know how i can go bak in on saturday!

an i think this pic just personifies my feelings of work :

That picture fits my mood today too!

I'm sorry that work is that way. Just try to step away from it for a while and put it back in perspective. It's just a job.

As for your friend, I think you should just call her and apologize if you feel bad for things you said. And she probably said things too, but try to let that go. Maybe you both just had a bad day and took it out on each other. We tend to do that to the people we care the most about.

Ah yes, life. Soometimes it's just too much. Your situation is worse than mine btw. I just had one of those blah days today. It'll pass. This is tough. I feel for you, becca. HUG:

you know i am feeling your pain every step of the way on this one! just think of it as a means to an end - the 'end' being next summer. hope things improve massively and quickly for you, much love x

Hello, baby.

Hope this note finds you well and things going well for you and the fam. I trust they found a way to celebrate your b-day. Just finished my 3 night stay with the kids. Little one is starting to say more. Evans says TOO much (she is so sweet). And, the teens are being teens. Cindi came over yesterday afternoon and I taught Chance some grilling skills, while Cindi worked with the girls. It was special. Cindi always adds so much to the situation, whatever it is!!

Wish we were there to celebrate with you. Nanny got excited about your coming over during Christmas. Of course, she says, "why didn't you tell ME", as though I was holding back!

Anyway, Happy Birthday, hug the kids and try to get along with the situation as well as you can.

Love, Dad
