Clever trick for managing multiple yarns

An online friend, Lianna, posted a quick blog entry linking to another blog entry that i thought was pure genious. And I feel I had to in turn share this most clever way to keep yarn balls from tangling and rolling and doing all those crazy things while you're trying to knit the darn things!
Cheap, quick, temporary and recyclable.
Will definitely try this when using up odds and ends but also when alternating out hand-dyed skeins for larger projects where you want to avoid obvious hank changes.

That's brilliant! One of the reasons I haven't tried colorwork yet is that all of those little balls of yarn scare me. This is a great solution.

That's a really clever idea! I'll tell Charlie, as she likes making colour work sweaters for herself :o) You could also use it for long strands of red liquorice. I always get tanged up in them when I try to eat them!! Tiddy x

Love it - such a clever idea! It would be cool to have this portable somehow - maybe on one of those old towl rails or something.
