A day of respite, at last!
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. It's like I never work or something. Anyone who's been keeping up knows that: 1. I get one week a month off for RTT (recuperation de temps de travail - which means any hours over 35 / week -yes, France has a 35 hour work week, one of the fringe benefits of a socialistic country- are given back to us as days off) 2. I have one week a month where I only work 2 days and 3. I just took off those two days last week which means I had the full week off. Sum total, I had one week off, worked the weekend then have this week off. As Christophe likes to put it, I only work every other day basically. So, why should I complain? Because I feel like it! And hey, it's my blog and I can cry if I want to, cry if I want to , cry if I want to...
Anywho, during my week off, the kids were off as well (again you already know that if you were keeping up) and they had friends over every day. In other words, what little hair I have left after deciding to get it all cut off, has now been pulled out. And today - they went back to school and Christohe, who likes to say I never work, went back to the vineyards for the first time in, oh, 2 months (don't get me wrong - he was true to himself and never sat down two minutes in a row). But, what I'm getting at is I'm HOME ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to clean the house then kick back, drink some tea (not the long island iced kind), crochet, just relax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jealous yet?
