It's so good to be home. It's so good to be able to call this home for once, to be finally accepting things after 10 years, to be thankful for who I am, who I'm becoming, and thankful for my life. It's so good to be able to be happy about the simple things in life, like walking with my dh, making home-made Irish bread, seeing the beauty in all the things around me. When I got in last Wednesday evening, I had to snap these quick pics from our yard.
Anyhow, for some reason I've been in a funk today, feeling angry and hurt again about the past even though things have been so great between me and Christophe since I've been back. I don't know why I do this to myself. That green-eyed monster just rears its ugly head...
I'll get over it. I have to go back to work tomorrow - aaagghhhh! not looking forward to that other than getting to see my friends at work. Oh well, I should be greatful to have my job and suck it up, right?
Missing all you guys in Nashville! Hope you're all well and for those of youhelping out so much with the kids, big big big big THANK YOU and hope they're not driving you too awfully crazy!

I sure hope so!!!!!
I just want to make a comment here, and forgive me if I overstep, but that green-eyed monster is GOING to raise his head, no matter how much you try to beat him down. Just remember it's not your fault that it happens. You are doing the best you can and things take time. I'm glad to know things are going better, but those times you are blue for "no reason," don't beat yourself up for it. And it's not for no reason. Just do the best you can, take it one day at a time, and don't fault yourself for the way you feel. I'm keeping you in my prayers!
Oh Becca, I wish I could have seen you when you came to visit. Every time I pass the Wave Pool in Nashville, I think of the time we went on the last day of school and your dad was mad about it when my mom took you home. Oh, to be 15 again and ogling hot lifeguards, those were the days! (Also, I meant to ask you, what's a WIP?) Love you!!!
